Like in so many of our lives, God has written a beautiful story about La Palmera through the 21+ years it has existed. This is a tribute to those moments when God has revealed himself to the people of Trinidad, foreign volunteers and the faithful staff at the project. This is a new area in which we hope to build over time such stories of volunteers that have been impacted or memorable stories that people remember of seeing God at work. If you have something, please send it to Jimmy Bollinger, the webmaster at jimmybcu2003@yahoo.com

All of these stories actually happened

Currently, these are the stories we want to share:
The Beginning of La Palmera (coming soon) - As eluded to in the history of La Palmera, the current land was acquired through a chain of miracles, this is the account of those events

Journal of Jimmy Bollinger from 2003
- This is an account of Jimmy Bollinger a former short term volunteer and current webmaster, sharing his first experience of coming to Trinidad-Beni with a summer team.

Miraflores Miracle - Miraflores is a small community outside of Trinidad and is where the La Palmera "Chaco" is located that is used for their camps. Lucho organized a trip in October 2005 for the kids there to view the Mamore River that passes near Trinidad for the first time, something he was shocked to hear they had never seen. Only one problem . . .it was rainy season.

Court Victory (coming soon)
- The beginning of 2005 was plagued with lawsuits from a few former Bolivian volunteers who felt they were unjustly treated. Here is the story of God's work in the Bolivian Justice System to help the project avoid a costly settlement that these volunteers were seeking.

Sadie's Bolivian Experience - Read a blog post about Sadie Thimsen, a volunteer from the Minneapolis 2006 team, and how she was inspired by the project.
